For 2016...and Looking Back, Fixing Stuff

I played PP for a few times back in 2016, found a reader of my blog and promised them that I would update my blog...but I ended up not updating anyway. I'm really sorry Aquachan, and thank you for your tell and comment.

So what happened was I joined a competition and unbelievably got 1st place in Excellent Alchemistry.

Then Aquachan found me and sent me a tell.

I barely had any content to post about so I just waited til the next time I could log in but I got busy with college again and...time just passed.

During winter, I saw a yeti for the first time.

2016 was just...the most cruel year for me. I blocked myself from using Twitter, Facebook and other social media to focus on my last year of college and my dancing activities. It was just a back and forth between eat-college-dancing-barely any sleep-eat-college-dancing-barely any sleep...like that. (No, don't say "then just quit dancing" NOOOO xD) Then I graduated and started working from 2017 and I'm left with no time again.

And I'm rambling again...

Anyway! I wasn't paying attention to my online stuff that I didn't notice PP being much more dead than before, the entrance of Dark Seas, Tinypic closing etc. I recently logged in in Meridian and there were only 5 people (including myself) online...it's such a sad state. Then I revisited this blog and boom! My background picture is gone...actually, the other pictures I stored in Tinypic are all gone. They apparently closed last year? And Photobucket keeps on messing up with people with their stupid plans so my blog looked like this:

So I had no choice but to re-upload all my pictures to Google, which at the moment seems more useful and trustworthy. No stupid and outrageous $400 a year plan like the initial plan of Photobucket. Their current plan is much lower now but I still won't use them anymore, not after all that drama that was a betrayal to all their users.

Anyway! I changed the background picture even though I still have the previous purple butterfly one. I think I like this dark one better. :) But for the rest of the tinypic pictures, alas...I didn't back them up anywhere else so sadly they are lost forever. T-T I did try restoring a few others that I found, and in the process I had to re-read my entire blog...

And oh boy was it so cringy and embarrassing... xD

But I decided not to touch them and just keep them like that, for memories and nostalgia purposes. Yes, all of the typos, grammar mistakes, the craziness...everything!

I've recently started logging in and playing again, but this time in the Emerald ocean since Meridian is almost empty. I do pop in Meridian once in a while to check up on stuff and to mem for a few minutes though, so if anyone is hesitating on playing, whichever ocean just go for it! Let's revive PP back from the dead! xD

Welcome 2016 and new blog name!

Ahoy everyone! It's been 2 years since my last post. :(
You might have noticed, my blog's name changed and is now "My Life as a Pirate" as of today because...I'm not a teenager anymore! Not a teenage pirate but a full pirate! xD

Anyway, a lot has happened in these 2 years and the last time I logged in to YPP was on March 2013. I missed playing so I decided to sneak a peek and logged in (while bf beside was just clueless about the game xD) on Dec. 29, 2015 to Jan. 2, 2016. Wow, it's 2016 now! 
Time flies by too fast! And everyone in the crew are dormant. D:

I logged in to find that I was a penguin! Turns out that there was an event of penguins VS seals? But I saw people at the inns that had pirate forms so I asked how to be a pirate again because I didn't want to be a penguin. xP

There were a lot of changes in the game with Kraken Hunt added as another SMH and I decided to join one after the IO spree. I had no idea what you do at a KH so I was confused at first but understood it after a while. There, I met Superpants and saw him at the poker table after the KH.

And as always, my pirate life is never complete without people talking about my name. 
Now that I think about it, why did I even name my pirate like this? I have no clue! I would like to ask my self from 8 years ago but alas, I can't! It will forever remain a mystery...

I don't really play poker much, but when I do, I always cash out with no money. HAHA! But miraculously, I won some 20k in total (from 2k) at poker this week. I also won a few times at hearts and treasure drop too. ^_^v

The next day I went to another IO spree on a WB. Because there's only a few people it's pretty hard to fill ships these days. Even the sloops for KH won't get filled. xC But it's the new year's so it's understandable why the population was like this:

But despite the low population, I saw there were still...violent interesting people online. 

Anyway, there was a familiar tournament for overall scores in puzzling last week, and I placed 2nd in DNav...but fell down to 4th place at the last few minutes. xD But I still got 4th place and a few furniture! 
I was also able to mem a few routes down further into the late-Malachite ocean. God, there are a lot of outpost islands so I can only mem a few routes with the navy, but after that I have to go out on my own ship! D:

And this ends my YPP week! The next time I'll be able to log in would be from February...
